Fiorentina Primavera claimed an impressive away win in Milan, with Tommaso Rubino getting the Viola’s only goal of the game.
Fiorentina wasted no time in getting started, with Rubino firing his side ahead within a minute of the first whistle. It was the forward’s eighth goal of the campaign.
The visitors tried to increase their advantage but to no avail, while Milan had a great chance to equalize late on through Victor Eletu.
Fiorentina’s youngsters head home with all three points and now sit third place in the league with 38 points, only two behind Sassuolo and Roma who have 40 points apiece.
