Safeguarding

The protection of minors and the prevention and countering of the phenomena of abuse, violence and discrimination is an issue of fundamental importance to ACF Fiorentina. 

In order to reaffirm the Company's commitment to ensuring that soccer is a safe sport, a positive and enjoyable experience for everyone, especially minors, regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, origin, social background, religion, skill level, level of involvement and disability, on June 25, 2024, the Board of Directors of ACF Fiorentina resolved to update its Safeguarding Framework, a tool that complies with the F. I.G.C. (referred to in Federal Communiqué No. 87/A of the F.I.G.C. published on August 31, 2023) and the provisions of UEFA Licensing.

The Framework is inspired, with regard to the protection of children, by ONU Convention on the Rights of Children and Adolescents and the Children Rights and Business Principles (CRBPs), 10 Principles developed by UNICEF, Save The Children and UN Global Compact, which aim to guide companies in protecting the rights of children.
