Fiorentina Femminile will be back in action on Sunday evening when Sassuolo visit Viola Park for a 18:00 CET kick-off.

The Viola, who go into the game fourth in the table with four matches of the regular season left to play, are hoping to return to winning ways having not claimed three points since a 3-1 defeat of Sampdoria in December.

Wednesday's Coppa Italia quarter-final first-leg draw at AC Milan was a confidence boost for Sebastian de la Fuente's girls, who will host the Rossonere for the return leg in Florence at the end of the month.

Either side of that cup clash, Fiorentina will take on Sassuolo, Lazio, Inter and Roma in the next three weeks looking to put as many points on the board as possible before the start of the play-off stage.

Speaking ahead of Sunday's match, De la Fuente said: “There are no easy games at this stage as everyone is fighting for their own targets. We steadied the ship against Milan. We still need to do better in the final third but we must keep at it. We have to keep improving against Sassuolo, then we'll focus on the remaining games and the Coppa Italia."

Juventus remain out in front, followed by Inter, Roma, Fiorentina and Como. The Viola have the chance to close the gap on some of their rivals this weekend with Inter v Como and Roma v Juventus being played elsewhere.
