Fiorentina U20s win third consecutive game against Cremonese

Fiorentina U20s defeated Cremonese 2-0 in their 21st game of the Primavera 1 championship to make it three wins on the trot and close in on Roma at the top of the table.

The Viola took an early lead through Riccardo Braschi, who headed in his ninth of the season on his return to the center of the attack, making him Fiorentina's top scorer for the campaign.

Six minutes later Giulio Scuderi put a powerful delivery into the box which ended up hitting the post and going in – giving the left-back his first goal of the season.

Daniele Galloppa's side went on to control the game and secure victory with a third clean sheet in as many games – partly thanks to a couple of fine saves by Tommaso Vannucchi in goal.

The result sees Fiorentina Primavera leapfrog Sassuolo into second place on 41 points, two behind table-topping Roma, with 45 goals scored, making them the second-best attack in the league.
