Raffaele Palladino spoke to the media on Wednesday ahead of Friday's visit of Lecce. Here's a selection of his comments:
BOUNCING BACK - “It hasn't been a nice week. We have to analyse everything and work out the reasons for this downturn. We've been working on the pitch to get out of this sitation. We must learn from defeats and come back stronger.”
ABSENCES - “We'll be missing lots of players. It's not an excuse. [Moise] Kean needs to rest after his head injury. We'll follow the advice of the medical staff regarding his recovery."
CRITICISM - “I'm not here to respond to things that I haven't read. I'd just like to point out that it takes time when you make changes to the squad. It takes work on the training ground. You need patience to bed in the new arrivals. Like in September, we've had another mini-revolution. We accept the criticism because we've lost three in a row., but you have to look at the season as a whole and not throw away the good things we've done.”
BALANCE - “We're still building. We've had two bad games against Como and Verona but we beat Inter three weeks ago, we took six points off Lazio, and we beat Milan and Roma earlier in the season. We can't forget the good things. You need a balanced assessment.”
