The Coppa David, a football tournament dedicated to high school students, was launched today at the Wind 3 Media Center.

The second edition of the event organized by Giovani Wannabe APS will involve 12 high schools in Florence. Their teams will play 30 matches between January and May and the top two sides will then face off in a final.

General Manager of Fiorentina Alessandro Ferrari spoke during the meeting with the press to formalize Fiorentina's support for the initiative. The final of the tournament will take place in the wonderful setting of Viola Park, and the winning team will be able to lift the trophy on the pitch of the Davide Astori Stadium.

By promoting this tournament Fiorentina once again reiterates its interest in supporting local initiatives related to young people which can promote the love of football and healthy sporting competition.
