Dodo: “A huge team victory”

Fiorentina’s victory over Inter was not just a triumph for the players but also a night to remember for the fans. With an exceptional display of unity, intensity and confidence, the team put in a performance to be proud of.

“It was a beautiful night, not just for us but also for the fans,” explained Dodo. This is a match that will stay in our minds because you don’t see Inter like that very often. The whole team had an incredible attitude today. Every player had a great game and if we continue like this, we can reach our goal.”

Fiorentina stepped onto the pitch with the perfect approach underpinned by humility, focus and determination. They executed their game plan against a strong Inter side and capitalized on their chances. “We worked hard all week for this match. We knew it would be tough, especially with some key players missing, but the team’s attitude never wavered. With humility, composure and the right mentality, we can always raise our level during games.”

Dodo played a crucial role in the match, providing a brilliant assist for Moise Kean to double the lead. “That was a fantastic moment. I’m happy for Moise. It was a great assist and he finished it perfectly. We’ve had a great connection since he arrived and I think that’s the strength of this team. When there’s trust and unity, we can keep pushing higher and that’s really important for us.”

While Kean’s individual performance was outstanding, Dodo emphasized that this was a collective victory. “This was a team win because everyone worked so hard and stayed fully focused. Beating a side like Inter requires concentration and bravery. We had to showcase what we’re capable of. Having a striker like Moise makes things easier because we know he works so hard in both attack and defense. He scored twice today and that just shows his quality.”

With this victory, Fiorentina have climbed back into fourth place, but Dodo insists that the team won’t stop here. “The goal is to keep pushing higher. It’s not easy and there are still 15 or 16 games to go, but if we continue like this, we’ll achieve our objective.”
