Fiorentina reach Conference League semis for third year running

A 2-2 draw at the Stadio Franchi was enough for Fiorentina to beat Celje 4-3 on aggregate and reach the semi-finals of the Conference League for the third consecutive season.

Rolando Mandragora opened the scoring midway through the first half but Aljosa Matko leveled the scores after the break.

Klemen Namanic flipped the game on when he headed in a second for the visitors ten minutes later but then Moise Kean restored parity on the night to seal the Viola's passage to the last four, where they will face Real Betis in another two-legged tie.

It means Fiorentina have reached three back-to-back European semi-finals for the second time in history, having previously achieved the feat between 1957 and 1962 (European Cup once and Cup Winners' Cup twice)
