The Viola picked up a 2-1 triumph over Empoli on Sunday.
The hosts took the lead on seven minutes through Yacine Adli before Rolando Mandragora doubled the advantage with an acrobatic effort on 25 minutes. Jacopo Fazzini cut the arrears for Empoli in the second half, but it would prove not to be enough.
