ACF Fiorentina can confirm the transfer of Albert Gudmundsson from Genoa CFC on a loan deal with an option to buy.
Gudmundsson was born in Reykjavik, Iceland, on 15 June 1997. Over the course of his career, he has also played for AZ Alkmaar and PSV Eindhoven, the club with which he won the Dutch league.
Last season with Genoa he made 37 appearances in Serie A and Coppa Italia, racking up 16 goals and 5 assists.
Gudmundsson has also made 37 senior appearances and scored 10 goals for his national team of Iceland.
The new Fiorentina player will be presented to the media on Tuesday August 20 at 12:30 CEST at the Wind3 Media Center in Rocco B. Commisso Viola Park.
