Michael Kayode has been named as the winner of this year's 'Best Italian Golden Boy' award. 

The prize, run alongside the European Golden Boy award, is organized by Italian newspaper Tuttosport and voted for by European journalists.

Upon collecting his trophy, the 20-year-old defender said: “I want to thank the president and the club for believing in me and I'd also like to remember Joe Barone, who filled me with confidence when I first came to Florence. This is a fantastic award and I'd like to dedicate it to my family and everyone else who has supported me.”
