ACF Fiorentina is pleased to announce the acquisition of Pablo Mari Villar on a permanent transfer from AC Monza.

Born in Almussafes, Spain on August 31, 1993, the defender has previously plied his trade for the likes of Arsenal and Flamengo, winning an FA Cup, a Brazilian league title and a Copa Libertadores. 

Over the last few seasons at Monza, he has ammassed 83 Serie A appearances and scored one goal. 

Pablo Mari, who will wear the No.18 jersey at Fiorentina, will be unveiled to the media at 13:30 CET on Thursday January 30 at the Wind3 Media Center at Rocco B. Commisso Viola Park 

After completing his move, his first comments were: "I've come to Florence because this club has big plans. I'm proud to wear the Viola shirt."
