Palladino: "We'll give Milan a game but show them respect"

Raffaele Palladino held a press conference on Thursday ahead of Saturday's visit to Milan at San Siro. Here's what he had to say:

FORM - “With hard work, values and the mentality shown by the club and the lads, we've dug ourselves out of a tricky situation and now we're reaping the rewards.”

MILAN - “I watched the Coppa Italia derby last night and I'm expecting a difficult game. Milan are a very well-equipped side and they brought in even more quality players in January. We want to improve our away record and we'll have the chance to do that on Saturday. We're going to Milan to give them a game. We'll show them a lot of respect because we know it's going to be very difficult for us.”

TREATMENT ROOM - “We'll try to get [Robin] Gosens and [Andrea] Colpani fit for the coming games.”

MANDRAGORA - “Rolando is having a fantastic season. He's the perfect example of biding your time and working hard. He's an example for his team-mates and he's getting his reward. I expect the same attitude for those who aren't playing so much at the moment.”

LEAGUE POSITION - “Being up there with the big teams is a source of great pride. We have to keep our foot on the pedal and not look at the table.”

COMUZZO - “Pietro is a soldier, always on guard. He's a key player for us and when he gets the ball he always performs at a high level.”

FORMATION - “When you change formation, there's always a logical reasoning behind it. After the January transfer window, we had to make some big choices and now we're getting the payback. The system is working really well and the lads noticed it straight away.”
