Here’s what our coach had to say ahead of our game against Atalanta, taking place this Sunday at 15:00 CEST:
ATALANTA - “Matches against Atalanta are always very difficult and challenging. It’ll be a game of many duels and great intensity. We head into this fixture feeling really fired up. We’ll also be facing a top coach, a real phenomenon. I worked with him in youth teams - he made me become a man. He revolutionised football with his man-to-man tactics all over the pitch. He’s unique.”
CHAMPIONS LEAGUE - “I believe in hard work, in improving game by game, and I’m happy with the ambition my guys are showing. We’ve got our objectives. Our secret is to take things game by game and give our all against whoever we face.”
KEAN - “While great credit must be given to the club and the fans Moise has also done his part with the maturity he’s shown. He’s the present and the future of the national team, but he can still improve. A lot of it comes down to him.”
GUDMUNDSSON - “He needed a spark but now he’s at 100%. He’s sure to finish the season on a high – I believe in the man and the player. We’ve also got [Fran] Beltran up front, who’s had a great campaign. I’m also expecting great things from [Nicolo] Zaniolo before the end of the season.”
STAYING AT THE CLUB - "I'm thinking about the good of the team. I shouldn’t view things from a personal point of view. We’ve achieved great results against the strongest teams. Now we have to raise the bar in those matches that, on paper, are more winnable for us."
EDERSON’S SUSPENSION - “They’ve got other players who are more than good enough to fill in for him. We just have to think about our own tactical approach.”
ZANIOLO - “He’s working well – I really believe in him. He’s sure to have a great end to the season.”
PLAYERS MISSING - “Everyone is back in contention except [Andrea] Colpani.”
