Raffaele Palladino and Lucas Martinez Quarta held a pre-match press conference ahead of Fiorentina's UEFA Conference League play-off return leg with Puskas Akademia.

MISTER PALLADINO

TEAM - “As I've said many times before, we're a team under reconstruction. It takes time and what I'm interested in is seeing the team improving and the lads being actively involved. Experiencing difficulties is part of the process and it helps the team to develop.”
 
ADLI - “He's a great player. He'll add character, dynamism and technical ability, which is what we want. He's also good at getting the ball up the field quickly. We're happy he's come to Florence.”
 
PUSKAS - “We've come to Hungary to reach the next round. It's an important game for them too but I want my own team to be fierce and aggressive. We want to keep going in the Conference League because it's a competition we want to do well in.”

MARTINEZ QUARTA

PUSKAS - “It's important we get off to a good start tomorrow. We have to go out there with the right attitude and desire to win the game. We've prepared well for it and we're going to give it everything because it won't be easy.”                                  
THREE-MAN DEFENSE – “We need to get to know each other and that takes time. We want to win and do well as much as anyone. Once the transfer window closes, we'll see a different Fiorentina.”
 
RENEWAL - “I had a really consistent season last year and we almost won a trophy. Florence is my second home and I decided to extend my contract to help Fiorentina win something.”
