La Gazzetta dello Sport tells from the paper and digital 'premiere'  (and with two large pages full of details and photos) on the Sunday of the championship break, the desire of its number one to continue to improve football and the Viola. Signed by Andrea Di Caro, the long interview that we invite you to read in the newspaper or in the online editions (click on the link for the original article), is also accompanied by a clarification and an apology for a comment from May 2021 of which we would like to point out this excerpt «It was not our intention to offend him nor his human and professional history with the climb to the highest levels, nor his origins, nor the entire Italian American community».

MODERNIZING THE FOOTBALL SYSTEM «I believe that this inaction is an Italian disease. We must protect football, enforcing the rules and following new paths, but in Italy we are never able to do[...] We are unable to change the system to obtain more resources and guarantee a balance between income and expenditure. Those who invest in Italian football today must continually cover up and put in more money. In the second three-year period of my presidency I put the same money as in the first three-year period..."

FOOTBALL DATES SENSELESS MARKET «I agree with the coaches. Teams that will change in the following weeks go into training camp, some players withdraw, others are distracted and there is a risk of false starts. The federal president should be the bearer of these requests in UEFA and FIFA."
