Palladino: “Panathinaikos a historic club but we must focus on Verona"

Raffaele Palladino spoke to the media on Friday ahead of Fiorentina's next league game, away to Hellas Verona on Sunday afteroon.

GUDMUNDSSON - “We're sorry to have lost Albert. He's had a difficult, unfortunate season. We hope to get him back as soon as possible. We trust in our medical staff.”

UECL DRAW- “Playing in Europe is a source of great pride for us. Panathinaikos are a historic club who have enjoyed a lot of success. The atmosphere will be intense in Greece. Our aim is to reach the next round.”

PRADE - “There's are no problems whatsoever between myself and [Daniele] Prade, quite the contrary – there's nothing but great respect, unity and dialogue. The stories I've heard about my relationship with him are completely unfounded. I've always had an excellent relationship with the management. No one is happy about the defeat to Como.”

VALENTINI - “Nicolas is playing well. I'm happy because he's performing consistently well.”

FAGIOLI - “Nicolo is a player with tremendous technical ability. Last Sunday I decided to play him in a different position to aid his adaptation.”

COLPANI - “Andrea had a bruised foot. We're trying to do everything we can with the medical staff to get him fully fit again. He played through gritted teeth against Como.”

CRITICISM - “It's right that the coach should be criticized. It means I need to try even harder.”

ZANIOLO – "Nicolo came here desperate to be a success and needs to get up to match speed. Little by little he'll find consistency. I expect him to have an excellent end to the season.”

VERONA - “They're a good team, a tough proposition with a cauldron of a stadium. [Paolo] Zanetti is a good coach. We'll need to be fully focused if we want to have a decent game and be able to deal with the different stages of the match with maturity.”
